MIKE SCANLON "Too Edgy For The Amish"
Mike Scanlon is like the Stealth bomber of the Cleveland Comedy Kitchen:
He drops his jokes on the audience and then tries to slip away unnoticed.
When asked for a publicity photo, Mike so far has failed to supply one.
He says he wants to keep the comedy things low-key. Others think he refuses
to supply a picture because there's already one of him on the post office
wall.
Mike's eerie resemblance to a certain game show host gets audiences laughing,
and they keep chuckling when they hear the travails of this single guy.
"Pat Sajak and I are a lot alike. He's married to a centerfold model, and
I have a copy of that issue."
Dating is always a problem for Mike. "I used to date a librarian, but the
problem with that I found is that she doesn't expect you to take her home
for two weeks."
Mike has performed at Hilarities in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Jr.'s Last Laugh
in Erie, Pa., North Ridgeville, Ohio's First Night celebration and other venues
that he refuses to name.
What's next for Mike?
He plans on working up a few more killer routines. But he only wants the
audience in on the jokes. Don't get any ideas about telling the FBI or CIA
about any of his activities.
